Steps of Match Making

The Match Making of a horoscope involves several steps which are as follows;

Similarly, it’s an astrologer’s moral responsibility to use his knowledge and thoroughly study all the necessary factors to follow the steps required for match making. That why it is always advisable to get into marriage procedures only after when an astrologer waves a green signal. But following to this, there are cases when the horoscopes match, still it would reflect a few obstacles or ill effects in horoscope and so to identify it and get rid of it there are some important aspects/ tools which are namely; Prasanam, Muhurtham, Nimitham, Ganitham and Golam.

Following is a flow chart representation for the stages involved in Match Making

• For Match Making process, it is required that the individual should have a General Report of their Horoscope.

• Once General report is analyzed, a separate marriage report is provided by the astrologer to the individual.

• After the marriage report is readied, the astrologer will give counseling to the individual. The counseling will acknowledge the person if there are signs of marriage and whether is it the right time for them to marry or not.

• In the above counseling, the astrologer thoroughly studies the person’s horoscope and lets them know if there are any doshas in their horoscope. If there are presences of doshas, then it is recommended to perform ‘Prasanam’. With the help of prasanam, an astrologer can accurately identify the type of dosha in the horoscope and what necessary procedure should be followed to get rid of them.

• Thus, the procedure of match making requires following of all these steps without which it cannot be done.

• The above match making procedure for horoscope is carried out for both the partner’s individually.

• Now, the astrologer again performs a prasanam for both the horoscopes because prasanam simply denotes the present situation at the time when and where it is carried out. In other words, a final prasanam is done for both bride and groom.

• Once the match making of both the horoscopes are finalized, the astrologer will give the dates for engagement, marriage and shantimuhurtham.
