Relationship between soul and physical body
“Imagine a whirlwind moving in great speed, and while it travels, it gathers all the bits and pie...
“We are what the thoughts have made us; so take care of
what you think. Fill the brain with high thoughts, highest ideals,
place them day and night before you and out of that will come great
work.” – Swami Vivekananda.
The quality of thoughts is finally the quality of life.
Therefore it is important what kind of thoughts we entertain, and
the nature of that thoughts.
It is undeniable fact that every human being in this world
wants to spend the life so happily moment by moment. He is
propelled by the massive hunger of getting things of his hearts
desires and keeps moving along the path, wishing the wheel of time
must move the direction of his heart's desire.
These desires have to be extinguished in order to reach the
“Absolute” who is beyond any pain and pleasure. But how many of
us have the proper knowledge and mindset to take pains and
pleasures alike.
“Piravi Perungadal Neenthuvar Neenthathar
Iraivan Adi Serathar”
Is the Thirukural in Tamil which can be roughly translated
as “It is only those reach the feet of God will swim off the ocean of
birth and death cycles, others do not”
This indirectly states what should be the motive of a human being who is thrown into this material world as a result of karma. The only objective of human being must to get out of this birth and death cycles by leading the life with right thoughts, right contemplations, and right motive. Without this realization we can see how the mass of humans get into the destructive mode of life by just perusing the sensual desires. All the life experiences are simply the effects and the cause of the effects lies far beyond in the dark. The events of life are determined by the hardness of the imprint inside our soul based on our actions and the resultant effect is experienced as life events by us. The soul receives all the effect of good and bad actions in number of birth cycles and it gets accumulated in it in potential form like dynamite waiting for explosion. The soul also has qualities of strength and weakness. The soul will be strong if there are accumulations of good deeds, and it will lead the life in its chosen path without getting disturbed by the evil forces, the will that is weaker is very susceptible to evil forces and always at the danger of derailing from its natural course into evil deeds. “Yathenin Yathenin Neengiyan nothal Athanin Athanin ilal. “ A Thirukaral that says that “One shall never get dejected over a thing that he has ceased to cling upon. It is because of our desire to hold on to a certain thing the emotional component gets crystalized, and when it is sustained for a period of time it gets harder evolving as “karma”. Apart from it, every karma has to be exhausted by becoming a reality. Every cause will produce its corresponding effect, sooner or later. Time is no barrier. There is an old proverb in Tamil “King shall punish now and then. God will punish later, but for sure “ It talks about the “sureness” of the effect coming into reality, enduring the “time component”.
