This area is solely meant for astrology and not for any other department of science. It cannot be be understood psychologically, even if understood to minimize or destroy it is beyond the capability of any science. This can be understood through shastras. The shastras says that the present is the effect of future and future course is determined by the actions at present. The past life imprints are gathered through many birth cycles. Actions and sensual imprints are accumulated in each and every birth, and these become the moral and immoral and assessed by the Absolute in the end. The life situations of men are in accordance with those imprints, and based on that life situations our souls strength will be determined. Depending on the nature of the imprints the strength or weakness of soul is decided. If the root of a plant is stronger, the leaves flowers and fruits will be healthy, and would give a sight of delight. Strength and Weakness of soul If a soul is with good and positive imprints, the soul will never attract any negative life situations even if it attains by default it will come out of it unhurt, it will not be affected by the out ward negative forces. The soul can be strengthened further by engaging ourselves in spiritual activities. A strengthened soul is always protected. The reverse will bring the opposite result. If the soul is weaker it would attract disastrous circumstances and the soul will struggle to get through it. The powerless soul will not be attracted by the stronger aspects of life in front of it as it is bereft of all good and positive imprints, instead it will gravitates towards its similar life aspects. Just like the ants are naturally led towards anything that is sweat. The capacity to understand will be lower in a powerless soul that has more negative imprints, because the imprints control all the potential of the soul to realize and understand.

The soul through the course of time with the inability to realize gets hardened. For instance we start something, in the beginning the outward indications are encouraging but at unfortunately everything would come to a standstill, and we would struggle finding reasons and causes for it. Such state of affairs will harden the soul and if such events continue, the soul gets hardened further and led to take evil decisions like suicide. The imprints have very strong impact on human life there it must be handled in a proper way. In today's world of science we can able to crack open the potentials that are gathered in life-center of a plant or an animal and even going further we are capable of changing it according to our wishes. How encouraging it would be if the same is possible with human beings? Imprints are the result of thought speech and action, through which the effect is experienced as health, wealth, fame, fortune, etc, or negative effects if the imprints are bad. Imprints of birth cycles How deep an imprint is making an impression in the soul is very important to attract any life circumstances, Unfulfilled wishes, desires, guilt etc if all these emotions get deep into the system and gets strengthened, then it acquires the power to direct the soul after the unfulfilled desires and wishes etc. It will force the soul to take another birth to fulfill its wishes, if still unfulfilled it will go on taking births until its wishes are extinguished.
