Astrology is an ancient art form that was gifted to mankind to make our lives better. Though altered and misunderstood, the only things that put a lid on the practice becoming the tool that it was destined to be are the mindset of the general population and the guileful charlatans who exploit the people’s beliefs for money. As such, astrology is used for mundane, selfish and worldly needs such as the nature of birth of a child, job prospects, information on marriage and education, etc. Now, it is our duty to rescue the art from centuries of abuse and misuse by those who use it for their own personal gains and from those who spread lies on the practice itself. This must be done not only to ensure that the real astrology thrives but also to bring it to those who are in desperate need of it. Properly followed, it can do more than just provide solutions to our trivial needs and desires. Unfortunately, we are still ways off from doing things the right way when it comes to astrology. Today, astrology is seen equal to horoscopes. This is because even the renowned astrologers ask for nothing other than a person’s horoscope to analyze his/her future. This in turn embeds the false idea that astrology and horoscopes are one and the same. However, the truth is far from it. In fact, there are five other branches in addition to horoscope in the vast sea of science known as astrology.
