The superiority of "soul-power"

The possibility of connection and relation with planets and even realizing god, consciously makes humans to occupy the foremost position in the hierarchy of living beings, if God realization is possible, it is possible through a soul that has great strength. the notion of planets controlling humans is debatable. We must be aware of the precautionary measures whenever we are troubled by the planets, through the strength of the soul it is possible to overcome the ill effects of soul.

Astrology in recent time asserts that planets are invincible and cannot be controlled by humans, but the puranas and scriptures tell a different story. Ravana held complete control over all the 9 planets but such a mighty Ravana was defeated by Ram the Great. Duryodana sought astrological assistance in fixing the time of war to Sahadeva who had an unparalleled mastery in Astrology, even then Duryodana lost the battle. These are the few examples indicative of the soul-strength prevailing over the planets.
