Self introspection -"who am I"

n Today's world any youngster deciding upon his chosen field of Ieducation mainly does on the compulsion of his/her parents or by getting carried away by the pressure in society, there are few who would follow their strong instincts and choose accordingly. Almost 70% of the people take the former course, it happens for everyone, we are bound to follow the ways of parents and society through the pressure exerted by them, how many of us have chosen the subject of study that is dear to us, such questions will rarely give positive answers. The second course really suits for someone who is independent by nature and having the capability to take right decisions and blessed with favorable family circumstances. It is they who come up in life with flying colors, why does it is that it is not happening to everyone. ALS gives a positive answer to all such questions ___________. The fundamental problem with us is that we are not realistic enough to discover the true potential within us, only then do we take pains to bring them up and utilize. We must also need great patience and foresightedness to see our effort getting materialized and benefit us. We are enthusiastic in sowing the seed but are not patient enough to wait for the results. We are always programmed to see the mirage which is a false appearance and take our eyes off the real water lying deep. Our talents and qualities are deep inside that we hardly trouble ourselves to get them out, nor do we have the intelligence to find it out, instead we always chase things that appeal to us outwardly, which ends up in getting involved in a rat race.

On the flipside this kind of a superimposition of ideas into the minds of younger ones is not without time bound results. Of c o u r s e i t w i l l l a n d a son/daughter in a job, and it would be beneficial for him/her, but life may throw any situation to him/her, the situations may be even disastrous which will make him struggle and stammer. When people fail to choose what they love they fail even more miserably in surviving the test of life situations. Problems will no longer be intimidating us if the mind, body, and soul are one with our thoughts and emotions. Problems that are rock hard will wither away like feathers, when the mind is pre-occupied and devoted in the field of its choice, be it a job or any activity. For example a youngster naturally don't have the eyes to see all the dangers involved in riding a bike because his whole being is restlessly involved along with his mind and soul in riding and experiencing the joy of it. Therefore when a child chooses a particular line of study or profession, from the very fact that he chooses on his own shows that he naturally have the inborn ability to get over all the problems or hurdles involved in it, so we have to understand ultimately what is the inborn stuff of a child. There are a lot of difference between wishes wants, and an uncompromising desire burning inside. We entertain mostly wishes right from the childhood, we have a certain wish, say to become a doctor and once we reach the high school we can see a change in our desires and with peer pressure we switch to engineering or some courses, because these are all wishes on the surface, weak, which will disappear with all the life situations very much peculiar to that age. But if the desires are rooted deep, burning inside consuming the whole being then it will carry on in spite of all the difficulties.
