Importance of Soul:

Soul plays an important role in astrology and vice versa. A soul is a part of a person that has their feelings, thoughts, character, attitude, and other personal qualities ingrained in it. Each of us has a soul; even animals do.Intriguingly, it is common to see people who believe in soul refusing to acknowledge astrology.
If a soul is the pilot, then astrology is the aeroplanethat aids the pilot in reaching the destination quickly. Surely a pilot can tread the distance but how many can say that their journey was smooth and not exhausting. On the other hand, how many millions do we see being happy and peaceful simply because they sought out astrology?

Role of Astrology:

To put it simply, it makes a person’s life easier.In a more real sense, it helps in fulfilling a soul’s purpose, the purpose being reaching God. In order to do this, it goes through many lives over a certain number of times through space and time. For example, a soul born in India in 13th century BC will be bornagain, possibly in Australia or some other place a few centuries later. This process of birthing across space and time by countless souls simultaneously may seem random and chaotic at first but there is an unfathomable order in it. To understand this, one must first familiarize themselves with the concept called Oozh(aka ool).In layman’s terms, it is something that allocates the good and bad in a person’s life based on the good and bad that they had done. When things do come around in an amplified magnitude, people do one of the following four things – do something about it by themselves, do nothing about it except worry that it happened, reach out to God, or lean on astrology. This is usually because of charlatans posing as real astrologers but then again, even the good ones fail to provide a working solution. Dependence towards Astrology:

Today’s astrology is heavily dependent, if not completely dependent, on horoscope.Sadly, horoscope cannot delve deep into an individual’s oozh. After all, it is merely one part of astrology, a birth chart that can give an insight into a possible future. It can, however, be accurate to a considerably great extent. For this, it uses a feature called Dasai.

Divisions of Dasai:
Dasai is nothing but the planet that has a hold of us its specific period of time. Each planet has its own spell of influence over a star sign. This Dasai is then divided into Buddhi, which is further divided into Andhara. Andhara is divided into PranaandPrana is divided into Sutchuma.The deeper we go into this sub categorization, the more accurate will our deduction of the time at which something will take place.

Recent downfall of Astrology:

Though the present arrangement is a result of the quality of the arrangement at our birth time, people are still inclined to see it as two different aspects and ask the astrologers for each aspect. This practice is an indication of the downfall of astrology in recent times. Apart from this wrong approach, there are those who look out for the predictions for their horoscope in daily, monthly, and yearly predictions along with that of Jupiter, and Saturn’s shift. One could be forgiven for saying that almost no one considers oozh in their analysis. For the past few decades, people have been resorting to worships, poojas, sacrifices, and other spiritual activities along with astrological remedies such as gemology, vastu, numerology, and other related activities. Most of us fail to recognize that the scope of horoscope is limited to settling ailments pertaining to the body and mind. For problems of the soul, one has to become enlightened, and touch and perfect his inner self. This is not an easy task, nor is it a widely known one. If one could understand and get to know their inner self, even the fate set by a horoscope can be altered. This could be understood when we look into the life of Markandeyan.

Life of Markandeyan:

Markandeyan’s parents were devoid of any children for a long time. His father began a rigorous penance towards Lord Shiva to rectify his predicament. Lord Shiva presented himself before him and granted him two choice. He could either have a son excelling in all fields but the son’s life would be limited to 16 years, or he could have ason with subpar skills but he would live for 100 years. His father wished for a son with excelling abilities without missing a beat. Though the child was supposed to pass on at the age of 16, he went on to live a full life because of his purity of the soul. Thus, looking into a horoscope is one thing but unless a person rectifies their oozh with the help of astrology and gets into touch with theirsoul, they will not find peace that they so desire.
